 The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be
a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God
and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ;
to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Mission u is a diverse community of people learning to put their faith into practical action in the current world context. Mission u reflects the theology of The United Methodist Church and the practice of joining personal holiness with social holiness. Through worship, in-depth study, music, prayer, sharing and exploring, we invite you to grow with us in understanding of the mission of the church.  Lay Speaker credit available.

 Mission u will be held twice this summer. Once in Great Falls July 27-28 and once in Billings August 17-18.
More Information on the Mission Studies and books required for the classes can be found on the
National UMW website.  Books should be read in advance of Mission u. 

Study leader Peg Plimpton - former YAC Lay Leader, is a graduate of U of Montana with Masters and PhD in Psychology. Peg is a Lay Speaker who has completed the Academy for Spiritual Formation. She has served on numerous committees within her local congregation, Missoula 1st and been an alternate and delegate to General Conference and Western Jurisdiction. she will lead the
Spiritual Growth study:  Embracing Wholeness: An Earth Perspective for Covenantal Living
