2015 was an incredible year for campus ministry in Bozeman. The program touched more 70 different young people who attended our Tuesday night meetings and Thursday night bible studies.

Our ministry centers around our Tuesday meetings, TNT. The evenings include a home-cooked dinner, provided by members of Bozeman United Methodist Church, games and spiritual discussion, led by Bobby and Janna Lauver, and music and prayer time, led by our student music team and coordinated by Kath Crumrine. We had an average of 23 students attending in the spring and 27 during the fall semester. We also offer a fall and winter retreat, social outings, and coffee out for one-on-one time with our ministry leaders.

Opportunities for service are an important part of our campus ministry. Each month students from our program volunteer at the Community Café, a free dinner served to anyone in the community in need. In addition we take a group of our students on a spring break mission trip. The students in 2015 worked for a variety of social service agencies in San Francisco, including Glide Memorial, a soup kitchen begun in the basement of the Glide Memorial United Methodist Church. Our program is generously supported by the Yellowstone Annual Conference, Bozeman United Methodist Church, money collected from the per-member-asking, and through our spring and fall fundraisers.

We hope you will all attend our “Tonight Show” skit and musical fundraiser this spring, which will be held at 7 p.m. April 8 at the Christus Collegium. Delicious desserts will be served by our students and campus ministry board members. In the fall, we hope you we join us at our giant rummage sale on Sept. 9 and 10. If you have items to donate, you may bring them to the Christus Collegium after Aug. 13, or contact Ann Dickensheets for more information.
