Bozeman Choir Robes to Haiti

In February, when the Bozeman UMC VIM team was in Haiti, they attended worship and helped with construction at the new Haiti Methodist Church near the rural village of Arcahaie.  Lay pastor Moles has a new and young congregation that sings with gusto and passion.  He expressed concern that his choir needs uniforms or robes so that they can travel to other churches to share their music.  It turns out that BUMC has 48 choir robes which have not been used for many years.  The offer was made and eagerly accepted.  Three suitcases of robes will be transported by a VIM team from Townsend, MT which will head to Haiti in June.  Thanks to the Yellowstone Conference and our connected ministries these repurposed robes will be used to celebrate Christ’s name in Haiti.
