Mission is our Identity in the Yellowstone Annual Conference

We are followers of Jesus: that's who we are. That identity tells us our call and our mission: we are to experience, celebrate, and share the love of God that comes to us in Jesus Christ!

So, we find ways to reach out with God's love: to offer hope as Jesus did, to offer healing as Jesus did, to feed the hungry and care for the outsiders as Jesus did.

Yellowstone Conference has had a special connection to the United Methodists in East Angola.  Since 2003 we have been in partnership with them, most notably in our Pastor Salary Support Project, which provides a very basic salary to pastors in East Angola who struggle to support their families.

We have sent and ARE sending Volunteer In Mission Teams to: Haiti, Mozambique, Brazil, Blackfeet Parish (MT), New Orleans, Roundup (MT), Minot(ND), and Phoenix (AZ).

Every year at Annual Conference we collect thousands of pounds of supplies for the UMCOR Depot in Salt Lake City.  In 2011 we also collected hundreds of sheets, towels and underclothing for the victims of the floods in Roundup, MT.  In 2012, besides the UMCOR cleaning bucket supplies we will also be collecting gently used items for the Billings and Browning Free Stores.

The people of Yellowstone support United Methodist Missionaries, contribute to a variety of Advance Specials, and are involved in their communities - sharing the love God.
