Camp on the Boulder is a pure and holy place set apart from life's distractions, located on 79 acres set in the Absaroka Mountains of south-central Montana surrounded by wilderness. Our recreational opportunities include a low ropes course, a PDGA registered Frisbee golf course, mini golf course, volleyball and basketball courts, great hiking and many other recreational activities including fishing on the Boulder River! Our lodging facilities include cabins, lodges and dorms for youth that can sleep 250 comfortably. We have a wonderful prayer chapel, an outdoor chapel, and a Tabernacle that can seat 300. You will also find meeting space and good food. You will find our ministry team is ready to help you have a wonderful time in the mountains with Jesus.
There is always something interesting here at Camp on the Boulder. One night we had a lightning strike on the peak just NW of us, and the top of the mountain was glowing orange. The Forest Service came and Sweetgrass County Fire Department showed up in the middle of the night. We watched the smoke jumpers drop in the next morning and the fire was contained. We are very thankful that we didn’t have to evacuate 190 campers. We’re grateful to the firefighters who did an amazing job to keep us safe.
